| Language Arts This month we will be reading various stories in our Trophies books. We will practice writing friendly letters to our classmates that have birthdays in October and November. We will also work on using the four-square writing process to complete various writing projects Math In math we will work on Topics 4 and 5 in the EnVision math book. We will also continue to study our multiplication facts. Please check with your child to see what number they are working on. Timed multiplication tests are on Fridays. Social Studies/Science November is an exciting month in our class for Social Studies. We will complete a Pilgrim Simulation unit over the next few weeks. The students will have the opportunity to complete activities that simulate the hardships and struggles the Pilgrims faced. The students will keep a daily journal of their experiences. In addition to our Pilgrim unit, the students will be completing a Native American research project. Please look for information on this project during the first week of Nov. The projects will be due during the week of Nov. 23rd - Nov. 25th (Thanksgiving week). Homework The homework packet will be due on Friday. Please do not let your child work ahead on the math assignments. They correspond with the lessons in class. Grades Please check the parentlink website for grades.
